Another Cria Born on the Rez!

This time, Irene Bennalley was at her Little Valley sheep camp in the Chuska Mountains of New Mexico when the blessed event happened. Little Valley Spirit was born Saturday, August 6, 2011, a male cria from Li'l Abundance, a Don Juan grand daughter, donated by Kingdom Ranch Alpacas, and their lovely white herd sire WSR's Allegro. Mom and baby are doing fine.

He is pictured here at 2 days old. His long and lanky build may come from Mom, but Dad is also a grand child of Don Juan, a famous Peruvian import.

He is pictured here with Nizhoni (Navajo for "beautiful"), a medium silver classic grey who was born earlier in the year at Irene's home near Two Grey Hills from two white parents.

Congratulations, Irene!
